From morning till late evening it keeps on happening...eve teasing.
Today while i was talking to my friend on phone,she was walking towards her office and she suddenly said to me "badtameezi ki bhi hadh hoti hai". I asked her what happened and she said that two men in old zen car came near to her and said "madam aa jao gadi mein baith jao" and that to be in broad day light in subhash nagar area.
She said that this is nothing which a girl faces in Delhi on daily basis but this was the least.
Much more things happen with girls which they don't report to police due to police behaviour and also they know that nothing police will do , except for accepting bribe and leaving these bad boyz. They dont realise that somebody's life is at stake and all they care about is only money.
She also said that even if she would have done something at that time,the bad boyz would have surely taken some revenge which is becoming so common these days as reported by many TV shows also.For instance Crime patrol.
The boys zoom car just next to them often,give them calls and still they cant report to parents as they fear that a normal middle class family cannot fight with these kind of men. What most can a middle class family can do at this time. The most they can do is to report to police ,But we all know how Delhi police behave with these kind of people as they themselves fear that " agar kisi bade baap ki aulad vala banda hua toh transfer ho sakti hai" .Therefore they fear taking action on these kind of people.
On 9th Feb,2014 around 7.30 pm while i was returing from Delhi Rajouri Garden Malls area ,there was hell lot of parking and inside those parked cars many people were drinking and throwing empty liquor bottles outside of the car.Now you all can imagine if a girl was passing that stretch to go to metro station which falls in that stretch area ,what would be her plight at that point of time.
When i narrated my friend's incidenct to my mother at home ,she said she never tell us these things as she herself faces these kind of circumstances many times while waiting for bus at the bus stop in Delhi.
